This is the time of year when we all reflect on what we're thankful for in our lives over the last year. We here at Concorde are certainly thankful that we are able to positively influence and change lives and communities for the better as a successful health care career college.

Here at the Concorde Blog, we're thankful today to publish a blog written by faculty and associates. They list the things they are most thankful for, whether in their personal lives or as key contributors and components of our health care career college.

Things we're thankful for as a health care career college

Joan Kilna, BHRM, Graduate Employment Specialist, Concorde - Portland: "I am thankful for the opportunity to help people change their lives."</p

Diane Osso, Dental Hygiene Program Director, Concorde - Aurora: "I am thankful for my health, my husband of 32 years, my children and my fulfilling career at Concorde."

Cindy Navarro, RDA, Dental Assisting Program Director, Concorde - Garden Grove: "I am blessed and thankful for being able to wake each morning next to my best friend and smile and have an amazing relationship with my children and grandkids."

Lu-Ping Gamble, RN, MSN, PhDEd, Director of Nursing, Concorde - Garden Grove: "I am thankful to our VN faculty and students, for VN faculty's dedication and inspiration to our students, for VN students' determination, focus, and motivation to learn and grow. I also have many thanks to people I work with - administrative team and support team."

Kyle Smith, Medical Assistant Program Director, Concorde - Garden Grove: "I am thankful for my beautiful wife and my healthy children."

Lori Liebman, Director of Student Affairs, Concorde - Garden Grove: "I am thankful for the opportunity to have a positive influence on my students' lives and that I get to see their growth when a graduate gets hired from extern or has a successful interview. Those moments are why I love my job!"

Lisa Mayo, RDH, BSDH, MHA, Dental Hygiene Program Director, Concorde - San Antonio: "I am thankful to work with such amazing people and for the happiness, our DH staff brings to student/patient lives."

Mary Fry, Director of Student Affairs, Concorde - Memphis: "I am thankful for the many opportunities I have been blessed with as a Concorde employee - being surrounded by wonderful co-workers in the Concorde family and extended family, friendships that have lasted over the years, the ability to go home happy, networking that makes me proud to be a productive member of society and seeing lives changed on a daily basis as we put our hearts into launching graduates into their chosen professions."

We have a Concorde representative ready to talk about what matters most to you. Get answers about start dates, curriculum, financial aid, scholarships and more!

  1. Program length may be subject to change dependent on transfer credits and course load. Please refer to current course catalog for more information. Concorde does not guarantee admittance, graduation, subsequent employment or salary amount.

  2. Professional certification is not a requirement for graduation, may not be a requirement for employment nor does it guarantee employment.

  3. Financial aid is available to those who qualify but may not be available for all programs. Concorde does not guarantee financial aid or scholarship awards or amounts.

  4. Clinical hour requirements and delivery may vary by campus location and may be subject to change. Concorde does not guarantee clinical site assignments based upon student preference or geographic convenience; nor do clinical experiences guarantee graduation, post-clinical employment or salary outcomes.

  5. Registration and certification requirements for taking and passing these examinations are not controlled by Concorde, but by outside agencies, and are subject to change by the agency without notice. Therefore, Concorde cannot guarantee that graduates will be eligible to take these exams, at all or at any specific time, regardless of their eligibility status upon enrollment.

  6. Externships are a non-paid in-person learning experience, whose length and location may be subject to change. Concorde does not guarantee externship placement, graduation, post-externship employment or salary outcomes.
