American Heart Month Concorde Cares

A federally designated event since 1964 was proclaimed by President Lyndon Johnson, it's an ideal time to remind Americans to focus on their hearts and encourage them to get their families, friends, and communities involved.

According to the American Heart Association, nearly "2,300 Americans die of cardiovascular disease each day, an average of 1 death every 38 seconds."

Whether it's being successful in your quest toward becoming a respiratory therapist or dental professional or smashing your New Year's resolutions, it's all about small, achievable changes.

Here's a video using the America Heart Association's Simple 7, a simple checklist of tips that can lead to better heart health with lasting benefits.

And remember, while they may seem obvious, they can individually and collectively help change the course of your overall health.

Did you learn a thing or two? We'd love it if you shared this video with your friends and family!

Heart health is something that we are extremely passionate about at Concorde Career Colleges. From hosting well checks in our communities to activities for our current students, we know that to be well, success doesn't happen by accident.

How do you keep yourself healthy? Let us know in the comment section below!
