Imagen Dental Partners - Dental Hygiene Scholarship

Imagen Dental Partners has established the Imagen Dental Partners- Dental Hygiene Scholarship for the Dental Hygiene (DH) programs at the Garden Grove, San Bernardino, and San Diego Concorde Career College campuses.

To date, Imagen Dental Partners has awarded $20,000 to dental hygiene students at our Garden Grove, San Bernardino, and San Diego campuses.

Imagen has committed to awarding an additional $3,325 dental hygiene student scholarship at each of the three campuses this fall to further help support Concorde students.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

The Imagen Dental Hygiene scholarship is available to current Concorde Dental Hygiene students at the Concorde Garden Grove, San Bernardino and San Diego campuses.

  1. Currently enrolled in one of Concorde's dental hygiene programs in Southern California and in their 3rd-term or later of their program.
  2. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Provide a copy of your Concorde transcript (official or unofficial) that includes the most recent completed quarter.
  4. Submit a 3-5 minute long video application (provide video file or accessible link to video sharing platform (ex. YouTube, Vimeo, Box, etc.); video should answer the following:
    1. Answering the questions below or providing a link to a video sharing platform (i.e. YouTube, Vimeo, drop box, etc.) that answers the questions below.  Video should be publicly accessible or a password to the video should be included.  Video should be no more than 3-5 minutes long.
      • What is your motivation for pursuing a career in dental hygiene?
      • Share any personal experiences or challenges that have influenced your career choice.
      • How do you plan to make a positive impact in the dental hygiene field?
    2. Optionally, a personal statement may be attached (500 words max) detailing any additional information you wish to share with the selection committee.
Scholarship Award and Distribution

Imagen Dental Partners will award one $3,325 scholarship to a dental hygiene student enrolled at each of these Concorde campuses: Garden Grove, San Bernardino, and San Diego.  

Scholarships funds will be paid to Concorde to apply to the student's tuition account. Students will not receive a disbursement or cash award. 

If a recipient does not complete their program of study, the scholarship will be applied toward the tuition and fees owed by the student.

Fall 2025 scholarship winners will be announced by 11/10/2025.

Registration and certification requirements for taking and passing these examinations are not controlled by Concorde, but by outside agencies, and are subject to change by the agency without notice. Therefore, Concorde cannot guarantee that graduates will be eligible to take these exams, at all or at any specific time, regardless of their eligibility status upon enrollment.

  6. Externships are a non-paid in-person learning experience, whose length and location may be subject to change. Concorde does not guarantee externship placement, graduation, post-externship employment or salary outcomes.

  7. Virtual externships are a virtual learning experience offered through Concorde’s learning management system. Concorde does not guarantee placement, graduation, post-externship employment or salary outcomes.
